Natalie, owner of Brushed, restored plaster work in the sanctuary of First Presbyterian Church of Bristol, TN. As one can readily see in the photos, her craftsmanship is remarkable and breathtaking!
Natalie isn’t simply a plaster restorer she is an artist who cares about every detail of the process – including prework details such as moisture readings so that new plaster would cure properly. Throughout the project Natalie made sure her new restored work blended perfectly with the old undamaged plaster. No detail was insignificant and problems were solved easily due to her expertise.
In addition to excellent craftsmanship, Natalie and her team were respectful of the church environment, took appropriate safety measures, and worked tirelessly even as hidden deterioration became visible while she was on ladders and lifts. The Brushed crew pulled through and the room was once again properly robed as church members celebrated Advent.
People come to church to be renewed and restored through the Word and worship of God. How beautiful that this special worship space has finally been restored, which we hope brings glory to God.
